TSRC Presents Plan4Safety to NJDOT

Monday, March 17, 2008 marked the culmination of 3 years of research and development for the team responsible for building Plan4Safety. The program was presented to an audience just over 100 in the NJDOT multipurpose room. The participants included NJDOT engineers, IT, and BSP, FHWA representatives, state police members, NHTSA, MVC, FMCSA, and several other groups.

The program was well recieved by all and Col. Mattos gave a statement of support for the program.

The program, built for members of the New Jersey community, can be accessed by anyone who requests a user name and password and is granted permission. Since the number of servers must be increased to handle the additional traffic, user accounts will build up slowly at first. If access is not granted initially, TSRC is happy to assist groups in obtaining any crash data or analysis they need.
