NJDOT & TSRC Participate in School Safety Day

On a rainy school-day morning, NJDOT and TSRC safety folks made their way to the Trenton Mott School. Friday, October 26 marked another successful program that brought safety to elementary kids. The program consisted of bicycle safety including proper use of helmets, crosswalk safety and how to use the push button, understanding traffic signs and their meanings, and safety-story time.

The program brings safety directly to the schools and presents it in a fun and interactive way through the use of actual traffic signs (miniature), a working traffic signal and pedestrian head, and real helmets.
