First Guiderail Class a Success!
Keywords: Guiderail
A whole day studying Guidelines for Guiderail and Median Barrier Design may not sound like the most fun, but none of the students who attended the first class came away with less than an interesting experience coupled with extensive guiderail knowledge and humor. The class was taught by two of NJDOTs own: Dave Bizuga and Bob Malinoski.
The two men have 25 and 30 years of experience, respectively, and an equal amount of guiderail experience and humor to boot. Both donated two days of their time so that the class would remain free. TSRC hosted the class in their lecture hall at Rutgers.
While this course was a unique opportunity, TSRC is hoping to host many additional classes that will support the needs of local agencies.
