TSRC Aids Ocean County with Road Safety Audit

In an effort to improve the safety of one of their county routes, the Ocean County traffic engineering and analysis team conducted a 3 day Road Safety Audit (RSA) with help from TSRC. Lead by Patricia Sansone of Ocean County, the 6 person team included professionals from engineering, traffic analysis and enforcement.

Many of the suggestions made included short-term, low-cost countermeasures that could be implemented easily to improve the safety for all road users. Other countermeasures included medium-, and long-term improvements. All of the final obervations will be included in a final report, much like the New Jersey Safety Impact Team.
