Improving Safety Through Data Enhancement Programs - New Jersey Efforts

On Tuesday, July 24, TSRC representatives, along with Pat Ott and Bill Beans of NJDOT, presented a two-hour session on the many efforts happening in NJ. The two programs highlighted included the EMS crash data integration project and the Plan4Safety crash analysis software package built for NJDOT. A good crowd showed up for the group and was impressed by the strides that NJ has made over the past several years. As one man noted, "NJ used to be 3 years behind...", now we are a couple ahead.
