TSRC Participates in National SHSP Peer-to-Peer Exchange

The TSRC joined NJDOT, FHWA-NJ, DVRPC, and SJTPO in attending this year\'s Statewide Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) Peer-to-Peer Exchange in San Diego, CA. The forum brought together state safety partners from all over the US to exchange ideas, thoughts, lessons learned, and innovative techniques to improve their methodologies for implenting the SHSP.

As the coordinating entity for the older driver portion of New Jersey\'s SHSP, TSRC went to learn from other states that had faced similar challenges in integrating and managing their plan. The overall experience was extremely useful and informational. State partners were able to make contact with their peers for future help.
